A newborn brings life into a home.  They bring happiness, giggles, love.... and just a few tears and yawns.  In the midst of it, it seems like this phase in life might never end.  There will never be another moment to yourself, a full night's sleep.  They will never stop needing you, there will never be a time when you won't have to rock every night will be spent rocking your baby to sleep, you'll always be able to stare for hours at their sleepy face or feel their tiny fist wrap around your finger.  But those moments don't laugh.  There will be a day when your newborn, who once couldn't control her movements, will climb trees, make her own lunch, drive her own car.  The days are long, so long.  But those years, they are but a blink of an eye.
